United for Change is a team of young medicos, scientists, engineers, social workers and a few students who are tirelessly working amid coronavirus breakdown in the country providing rations and other necessary commodities to the poor. On 23rd of March, it was announced by the PM of India that the country will go on complete lockdown for 21 days, it was done in order to evacuate all kinds of public spaces and gatherings to prevent the COVID’19 from infecting masses. But this marked with unemploying a vast section of daily breadwinners, contract laborers, roadside vendors and the like.
In the middle of this lockdown, crores of people have been suffering from starvation, lack of medicines and even shelter. Migrant workers are the most affected of all. Under this acute crisis, ‘Unite For Change’ group is ensuring that the marginalized people of people across different cities and countryside gets proper groceries and medicines, these people are mostly daily wage earners and e-rickshaw pullers.
The team is also working in Delhi, Mumbai, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Jhanjharpur district in Bihar as well as Azamgarh of Uttar Pradesh and many other places where more than a thousand families have been provided food / Ration kits by the group. Team UFC is also serving in Many villages of Madhubani, the district is an epicenter of Bihari migrant workers coming from Nepal.
Currently Dr. Maskoor Ahmad Usmani, Former President, Aligarh Muslim University Student’s Union, and Maryam Khan, Social Activist is looking after the coordination of team Unite For Change.

Team #UniteForChange Delhi Unit reached today to many underprivileged families and E- Rickshaw Drivers at Jamia Nagar, Okhla, New Delhi and helped them with a ration of 15 days. UFC Volunteers are working in different cities across the country.
