On the next State of Belief Radio –
Political endorsements: do they have a place in the pulpit? A recent report from the Commission on Accountability and Policy for Religious Organizations says “yes.” Not surprisingly, Welton strongly disagrees – and so does Commission advisor Rabbi David Saperstein. We’ll discuss this important issue when he joins me on State of Belief Radio.
Also – a prayerful response to that Florida pastor’s latest threat to burn qur’ans to mark the anniversary of 9/11. World Muslim Congress head Mike Ghouse will explain.
And Greenfaith, an interreligious coalition of partners for the environment expands to court action. We’ll check in with Executive Director the Rev. Fletcher Harper.
That’s all coming up this weekend on State of Belief! Here’s how to listen.
